Ophelie Planckaert

Ophelie Planckaert is a French scientist who has been working in Biology for 12 years. She has an Engineer degree in Agriculture and a Master’s degree in Biology. She is currently doing a PhD in Sciences at the University of Melbourne, Australia.
Driven by her will to help animal and human populations to stay healthy, she likes understanding all mechanisms that explain the interactions between molecules, organs, organisms, or organisms and habitats. She has published peer-reviewed papers and presented her projects at many international conferences.
In 2018, she discovered the GAPS Nutritional Protocol and quickly understood its positive effects on human health. She was astonished by the efficiency of the method, that, in addition, suited her convictions of a natural lifestyle. She soon decided to become a Certified GAPS Coach (CGC). She is now a part of the GAPS Research Team and works with passion to understand biological processes and bring scientific knowledge and awareness to wider audiences.
